The World of Stephanie Stark
Welcome in.
What follows is not a résumé—it’s a trail of sound, stories, and selves, stitched together by curiosity and a refusal to stay in one box.

Stephanie Stark is one-third Coloradian, one-third New Yorker, and one-third Texan—not by math, but by mileage. These are the places she’s lived the longest, and since she has no single hometown to claim (thanks to hippie, gypsy, wanderlusting parents and a soul that followed suit), she wears all three proudly. Radio was her first professional entertainment gig and, unknowingly, the beginning of everything. Behind the mic, she fell in love with sound—how it shapes mood, drives story, and pulls emotion out of thin air. Audio engineering wasn’t a career pivot so much as a revelation. After radio, Stephanie landed representation in New York City and gave the “make it there” dream an honest go—with some small wins, a lot of lessons, and the kind of grit only NYC can teach. Eventually, life pulled her back to Texas, where something unexpected happened: she met Violet FX. Violet FX is Stephanie’s alter ego—a cheeky, burlesque-noir, purple-haired ringmaster who thrives in misdirection, elegance, and audacity. Once Violet arrived, there was no turning back. With her help, Stephanie stopped apologizing for being too much, too curious, too unconventional. After what feels like a lifetime of shrinking herself, she’s done apologizing—and busy making up for lost time. Today, Stephanie Stark is a voice-over actor with Crunchyroll, a puppeteer with Le Theatre de Marionette, a showrunner and comedic performer at Dallas Comedy Club, and a performer at Netflix House. Her work spans live performance, puppetry, sound design, comedy, and storytelling—often overlapping in ways that refuse to sit neatly in one box. She currently has projects simmering, flying, colliding, and patiently waiting for the right moment to step fully into the spotlight. Some are polished. Some are wild. All are led by curiosity. Her known kryptonites include tacos, ramen, and real cowboys who dance. If you’re curious about the end result, feel free to stay. The journey is far more entertaining than crossing the finish line.
